Full time Curtain Maker/Seamstress/Machinist – Immediate Start

Love sewing? Experienced in Curtain Making & Soft furnishings?

We are looking for an experienced & creative full time curtain maker to join the team in our workroom, set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside on the outskirts of Winchester. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team of both experienced seamstresses to hand sew our luxury soft furnishings to the highest standard.

We offer a fully bespoke service both directly to private clients and also through a number of Interior Designers across London and the South Coast.

Skills & Requirements

  • Making up of roman blinds, curtains, cushions, bed throws

  • Hand sewing & machining

  • The ability to work alone and also as part of a team of 6

  • Speed, precision, meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to produce work to the highest standard

  • Adaptability in a fast paced environment

The interview process will also include a practical element. Please be prepared to bring examples of your work such as an Interlined pinch pleated curtain, Interlined roman blind and a Piped cushion cover.

Start date: ASAP

Location: Twyford, near Winchester

Salary: £23,500 pa (dependent on experience, reviewed at 3 months)

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday 8.00 am – 4.00 pm). Part Time may be considered for the right candidate

Term: Permanent
